Poison Lollipops

I am intrigued by real life happenings as plots for books, even though many of them are hard to believe. For example, the news reported that some parents were buying lollipops that had been licked by children with actively blistering chicken pox. Ew. They apparently thought it clever and kind to expose their children to the virus in this tasty way. But researchers found more bacteria on the pops than the virus the parents hoped to inflict. (The virus died, the bacteria thrived on the sugar.)
Does that make me a bacteriologist? I tried giving up sugar for December (what was I THINKING?) yet have gone back to the sweet stuff... in moderation of course. But even in my direst need, I WOULD NOT eat a lollipop licked by an infected person. I wouldn't eat a lollipop anyway. I would eat a cookie.
What is your favorite sweet treat?

Random Clicking

I see that life got away from me and last week is BLANK! (Like my braaaiiiin.) So this week I'm working on a project that sucks the thoughts right out of my head, so I found a list of jpegs and clicked around. This is what came up... cool original golden artwork and eggs.
Now sit down and write a story about them. Make it good. You can do it.
